When Amelia was young, she started to showed signs of developmental delay. After countless exams and Dr. visits, MRI´S, she was diagnosed initially with Developmental Delay. 

When she started to have seizures at 18 months old and her geneticist requested genetic study. She was finally diagnosed in 2018 with Syngap1

Thea's Night Out Community Respite Program is a free monthly respite care we provide to families in the community that have children with disabilities and their siblings (birth through 11 yrs).  Each month our trained volunteers provide an evening of fun and games for your children, while you are able to enjoy a much needed break.  We have an R.N. present to give medications and to help if there is any need.

Leo is a miracle child after surviving a birth that his twin brother Alexander did not.

At birth Leo was 30 weeks premature and just under 3 pounds.  In the first week, Leo fought through two life flights and multiple hospitals transfers, finally landing in Miami at the Children’s hospital for the next 100 days.
